Project Spartan might replace Microsoft Windows 10

Microsoft has confirmed longtime speculation that is in the process of ‘killing off’ its venerable Internet Explorer brand, replacing it in Windows 10 with a yet-to-be-named successor that is so far only known by its code name, “Project Spartan”.

According to tech blog The Verge, while the IE browser is still available in Windows 10, it is mostly for enterprise use, with “Project Spartan” taking over the role of the primary access point to the internet in Microsoft’s new OS.
