Acer unveils Chromebase Desktop
Hot on the heels of the announcement that Google is now offering, for pre-order, a new range of 11-inch Chromebooks, Taiwan’s Acer has unveiled its new, all-in-one Chromebase Desktop, which it plans to debut sometime during Q2 2015.
According to tech blog The Verge, this all-in-one device will offer the key differentiator of a “giant” 21.5-inch, 1080p touchscreen display. It also comes with up to 4GB RAM, a Nvidia’s Tegra K1 processor and the typical 16GB minimum storage found in most ChromeOS devices. However, Acer is also throwing in 100GB of free Google Drive storage for 2 years.
