Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ takes the ‘t’ away in can’t
Samsung launched their new Galaxy S9 and S9+ just a couple of days ago at Hilton Colombo. The event in itself was fancy and full of Samsung enthusiasts and competing iPhone users! The launch was entertaining and informative. Well done Samsung!
Understanding the consumers need to share, communicate and express themselves with images, videos and emojis, the new Galaxy S9 and S9+ are designed with a dual aperture lens that powers innovative low light camera, super slo-mo video capabilities and personalized AR emojis.
The managing director of Samsung Sri Lanka addressed the event talking about their determination to empower Sri Lankans to “do what you can’t, today” saying, ” In an age where individualism is constantly being expressed through images, emojis and video content, we have reimagined a smartphone for the future, with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.” He even managed to slip in the fact that Samsung Sri Lanka recently won People’s Youth Choice – Brand of the Year award which reflects the growing popularity of Samsung amongst the people of Sri Lanka. “I am grateful to all our consumers for their vote of trust which has led us to win this award.”
Another great feature of the phone is the premium sound experience powered by the stereo speakers tuned by AKG. The clear, crisp and rich quality amplifies the experience when watching movies and music videos. With the phones are available in 64gb and 128gb phones, the fast charging capabilities allows you to keep engaged in the entertainment.
Local celebrity, Miss Universe 2017, Christina Pieris and known photographer Sagala Lakmal De Mel were on stage to talk about their personal experiences with the phone. Despite a few glitches with the teleprompter, they managed to get through their presentations on the re-imagine camera capabilities in capturing colour, depth and the feature of slow-mo.
The phone will be available from the 23rd March 2018 in Midnight Black, Coral Blue and a new hue, Lilac Purple.
